Meet Flat Sandy

Flat Sandy was born on August 19, 2012. She is an only child. I think she loves being an only child because she always gets her way. She is very outgoing and she loves to have fun. You can always find her getting into something new. She loves to try new ideas, games, and much more.  Flat Sandy loves to go to school. Her favorite subject is Language Arts because she loves to write. She has tons of poems and stories that she has already written in her journal. If you ask her, she will be more than happy to share them with you. She says that she wants to be an author, so that she can share her writing with the whole world. She is also an honor roll student. She loves to see A’s on her report card. I think it may be because her father and I push her to do her best. Then, the rest is up to her. She says she wants to make us proud, so she chooses to do her best.  

In Flat Sandy’s spare time, she loves to ride her bike, bowl, and skate. She said since she can’t drive, she will have to stick to her bike. She loves to go bowling at Vestavia Bowl in Vestavia, Alabama. She says it’s because they have great arcade games. I think she also likes it because it is located close to Chuck E. Cheese. Sometimes we end up going there when we leave Vestavia Bowl. Her favorite skating rink is Roller Motion located on Morgan Road in Bessemer, Alabama. She says they have great music and a man that dances on his skates. She also loves to go to the Birmingham Zoo. She loves the birds and reptiles exhibit. I like to see the excitement in her eyes every time we go. Of course, we sometimes try to avoid the mammal exhibits because the smell of manure can get out of hand. We also love to go to the Butterfly Exhibit whenever they host it. It is so amazing to see the different species of butterflies. So many different colors and shapes, it is a must see event.

Flat Sandy also loves to socialize with others. She says that it is a way to release her thoughts and feelings. So, in a way, I think it may be a stress releaser for her. So, she is always meeting new people everywhere she goes. I don’t know why because she has tons of friends. But, I guess, there is always room for more. Although, Flat Sandy seems like a perfect child, she does have a dark side. She loves to play pranks on her dad and I. It seems that she has a humorous side that she is always trying to perfect. She also loves to tell jokes and riddles. At times, it can be aggravating, but we just laugh it off. Unless, she pushes us too far and we give her that look. Other than that, Flat Sandy is a great child and she is happy to finally meet you.
